When You see the word 'YOU'  capitalized in the Guidance, know that He is not just speaking to YOU, He is honoring YOU.

Belovèd Brothers and Sisters, those of You who are working with the daily Lessons from A Course In Miracles, and those of You who aren't, I trust You are understanding the purpose of these Lessons, which is to encourage You to make no decisions by Yourself, on Your own, but rather to Join with Me, the Father, Your Guide, or the Holy Spirit. And let Us Guide You. Our Guidance is the "journey without distance" that brings You back Home to Life, to Love, to Heaven.

The only "distance" would be the unwillingness to Join, to Listen, and be Guided. The "journey" is the mental movement from unwillingness to willingness. To open up Your mind's eye to see the Truth, the Love right where You are.

Centuries ago I was quoted as saying: "Search the Scriptures, for in them You think You have eternal Life, and they are they which testify of Me." (John 5:39) In other words, prophesy Me.

What I was really saying was that in studying the same Scriptures as I, You too are able to overcome death and find eternal Life right here and now.

And because it was not understood, this mistaken teaching has kept Me on a pedestal as Someone 'special', and stopped You from healing as I did, and overcoming death as I did. And as long as You keep choosing to die, You keep staying in the dream till You make a different choice. This choice is what We call Awakening. And Heaven stands waiting, longing for Your Homecoming. Each One of You is so important to God, Our loving Father-Mother.

² Christ My Refuge

O'er waiting harpstrings of the mind
There sweeps a strain,

Then His unveiled, sweet mercies show
Life's burdens light.
